Larger supermarkets are available at caussade (approximately 15 minutes away), or there is a variety of national chain stores at either montauban or cahors (approximately 35 minutes). Within easy driving disctance there are a large number of restaurants to cater for all budgets. a number of local villages and towns have interesting and colourful markets. Be sure not to miss the local market in st antonin held on sunday mornings. this beautiful and as yet undiscovered area of south-west france is steeped in history and offers a quiet relaxing holiday for those interested in wonderful scenery, unspoilt french charm and excellent food and drink. peace and tranquility surround you, but for those more active, there are many sporting activities nearby including tennis, fishing, pot-holing, rock-climbing and horse riding. An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the aveyron gorge is also considered a 'must' by nearly all guests. within short driving distances there are a number of fascinating towns and villages including cordes, albi, najac, cahors, penne and bruniquel, all of which are well worth a visit.
